Terms of Use
Last updated: July 9, 2026. These terms are being finalized and may be updated before and after launch.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://vetrights.org (the “Site”), operated by VetRights (“VetRights,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the independent advocacy campaign run by the veteran team at VetClaims.ai. By using the Site or signing the petition, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What VetRights is — and is not
VetRightsis an advocacy and petition campaign standing up for veterans' benefits and disability rights. It is important that you understand the following:
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or any government agency.
- The Site does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
- We do not represent veterans in benefit claims or appeals, and nothing here is a substitute for a VA-accredited attorney, claims agent, or recognized Veterans Service Organization.
- We make no promises or guarantees about any benefit, rating, claim outcome, or result.
Information on the Site is provided for general informational and advocacy purposes only. For help with a specific claim, consult a VA-accredited representative.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident to sign the petition. By signing, you represent that the information you provide is truthful and relates to you.
4. Signing the petition
When you add your name, you agree to provide accurate information and to sign only once. We use a double opt-in email confirmation to verify signatures. We may decline, remove, or refuse to count signatures that appear fraudulent, duplicated, automated, or otherwise in violation of these Terms. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is used, including how your name and city and state may be presented as part of the petition.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or another person's information;
- Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to sign or interact with the Site;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems;
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and design — are owned by VetRights or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may share links to the Site, but you may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our permission.
7. Third-party links and references
The Site may reference laws or regulations and link to third-party resources for general information. Those references and links are provided for convenience only; we do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, and a link does not imply endorsement.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information on it is complete or accurate.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VetRights and its team, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Site.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VetRights and its team, operators, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
11. Governing law
